Regular shower mixers use manual control for both temperature and flow. Thermostatic mixers maintain your desired temperature, using clever technology that monitors and continually regulates the temperature level.

Your pre-determined water temperature is maintained, and if somebody uses a tap elsewhere, the self-regulating technology prevents the water from suddenly running cold or hot. Additionally, in the event of a cold water supply failure, the thermostat detects the problem and immediately shuts off the hot water supply – an excellent safety feature.

Designed with both safety and convenience in mind, Methven Thermostatic Mixers offer temperature stability, and a dial control with a 38°C safety stop in both single or dual flow models (dual flow mixers allow the use of two outlets simultaneously). Suitable for mains pressure only.
